**Artist Biography Lee Jamieson

My art career began later in life, when I started art classes at the Art Student League in NYC where I was winding up my 30 years in the Airline industry. Watercolors were my first love and botanicals were my subject of choice. Years later Plein Air captured my imagination learning a new medium in oils. A decade later, while spending the winter in Vero Beach, VBM class offerings in Pastel appealed yet once again. A trip to Round Island with my new IPhone captured this Sea Grape photo, not realizing it would become my first pastel painting. Nature has never let me down.
