**Artist Biography - Eileen Quimby

My Artwork is considered Contemporary Realism, and Figurative art. I Started out in Fashion Illustration in College,in Manhattan, then moved into Graphic Art and Textbook illustration in New York,and then in New Hampshire where I lived for 25 years. 40 year career as a Graphic Artist and Illustrator. After retiring, and moving to New Jersey, I delved into more of the Fine Arts, working in Acrylics, and Pastels. Currently I am working mostly in Mixed Media. I’m using Colored Pencils, Watercolor Pencils and Pan Pastels on the same piece.

I have exhibited my art in a private showing, and also in an Art Gallery in Belmar, New Jersey, along with the VB Art Annex Gallery and the VB Main Library. I’m a member of the Vero Beach Art Museum, the Vero Beach Art Club, The Ocean County Artist’s Guild, The American Academy of Equine Artists. I am also a Photographer. Prize winner for my Photographs exhibited at the Ocean County Artists Guild in Island Heights, New Jersey. My Photo Collage is the Banner for the Pointe West East Village Group Facebook Page.
