"Its all About the Image" Member Photography Exhibit 2027

Overview

The Vero Beach Art Club invites its members to participate in the “It’s All About the Image” Member Photography Exhibit, a celebration of photographic creativity, technique, and artistic vision. This exhibition will showcase the diverse talents of our photography-focused members in a professional gallery setting.

Theme

Open theme. Artists are encouraged to submit their best work, regardless of subject matter or style. All content must be appropriate for general audiences and suitable for display in this gallery—no nude photographs or graphic content.

Exhibition Dates

• Exhibit Run: December 29, 2026 – February 2, 2027
  
• Gallery Stroll: Friday, January 8, 2027 - 5 PM - 8 PM

• Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 11 AM – 3 PM

Delivery & Pickup

• Artwork Drop-off: 12/29/26, 10 AM – 12 PM (Please notify the Photography Exhibit contact or the VBAC office if someone else will be delivering or picking up your work.)

• Artwork Pickup: 2/2/27, 10 AM – 12 PM
  

Artists are responsible for timely delivery and pickup of their work. Any work not retrieved within five (5) days of exhibit close will incur a $5/day storage fee.

Entry Details & Show Rules

Application Period: 10/1/26 – 12/28/26

1. Non-refundable show fee: $35 for one large original artwork up to 40” x 44” OR two original artworks up to 20” x 24” per artist. Dimensions include frame. Maximum of two (2) entries per artist.
   
2. All work must be for sale. VBAC retains a 20% commission on all sold items and collects/remits sales tax to FDOR.
   
3. Artists will receive payment for sold work (sale price minus commission) around the 15th of the following month, but no later than the 30th.
   
4. Artists agree to allow images of their work to be used for promotional purposes.
   
5. The Vero Beach Art Club reserves the right to reject items deemed inappropriate or unprofessionally presented.
   
6. Space is limited. Entries accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
   
7. Delivery: Early drop-off is not permitted without prior approval.
   
8. Pickup: Artwork not collected during designated times will be charged $5/day.
   
9. Participating artists are asked to volunteer for at least one Gallery Sitter shift (11 AM – 3 PM, Tuesday - Saturday). Volunteer sign-up sheet will be available at drop-off or online HERE
   

Rules & Eligibility

Open to all current Vero Beach Art Club members in good standing. All submissions must be original photographic works created by the submitting artist.

Accepted work must be professionally framed or mounted and ready to hang with secure wire on the back.

1. Frames must be black or white. Mats should be white or off-white.
   
2. Unframed metal/glass prints and gallery-wrapped canvas images are accepted.
   
3. All work must be clean, undamaged, and gallery-ready.
   
4. Artwork hung on panels must not exceed 18 lbs.
   
5. Work must be properly wired with D-Rings and preferably stranded braided wire. No sawtooth hangers, string, clip hangers, single craft wire, etc. Improperly wired work will be rejected.
   
6. Gallery-wrapped work must be at least 1.25” deep. All edges/borders must be professionally finished. Stapled edges will be disqualified.
   
7. If your work is rejected for incorrect wiring, you will have a one-hour grace period to make corrections (deadline: 1:00 PM) or pay a $20 re-wiring fee at the Gallery
   

The Vero Beach Art Club reserves the right to reject any work not meeting presentation standards.
